Jacob Beaton
A gift for bringing people, ideas and cultural wisdom together distinguishes Jacob Beaton, President and founder of CopperMoon. In addition to providing the overall vision and direction for the company, Jacob acts as Creative Director on key projects, bringing his unique combination of skills, experience and knowledge to the fore to help clients arrive at creative solutions to their communications needs.
With more than 10 years of experience in the combined fields of media and technology, Jacob’s forte is creative problem solving using a wide variety of vehicles. Applying a unique and thorough discovery process, Jacob works closely with clients to develop a solution that meets their underlying goals. For clients in both the aboriginal and mainstream arenas, he has created films, videos, web sites, and print communications that are at once inspiring and functional. In addition, Jacob’s discovery approach typically yields value added outcomes that address community goals, such as job creation and training. Juli HollowayJuli Holloway works out of CopperMoon's Kamloops office and works closely with clients in the area. In addition to project management, Juli is a specialist in public and media relations.
Juli is Haida and Kwakwaka'wakw and holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops where she majored in Public Relations. Since she graduated, Juli has dedicated herself to working in the field of aboriginal communication. She has always had a strong desire to help First Nations organizations and people realize success.
Juli is an excellent writer and copy-editor, with experience in writing for both First Nations and non-First Nations journals and publications. Juli is also experienced in page-layout and design. She also enjoys working directly with clients to ensure all of their needs are met. She has a passion for solving communications problems and creating effective communications products that will help organizations achieve their goals.

Pat Alec takes care of CopperMoon clients in the lower mainland area and is based out of the Vancouver office. Pat's background is in design, and he also brings his interest in business and business management to CopperMoon.
Originally from Lillooet, BC, and a member of the St'at'imc nation, Pat is a recent graduate from the Interactive Design Diploma Program at Capilano University. Drawing from his experience working with both native and non-native organizations, Pat's main goal is to create superior solutions for organizations through enthusiasm, innovation, and creativity.
With a passion for interactive media, Pat enjoys exploring opportunities and pushing himself further with new challenges. When he's not behind a computer, Pat enjoys playing various sports, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Jeff WardJeff Ward is the entrepreneur and visionary behind CopperMoon's Content Management System as well as a number of our web projects. Currently Jeff is representing CopperMoon out of Victoria.
Jeff is a Canadian web creative with international experience and a proven record of building online communities. His two most recent creations, YikeSite! and Apricado Music operate with elegant simplicity.
Jeff has a deep understanding of Aboriginal cultures from across Canada. A former hoop dancer, young Métis activist and leader and now proud Aboriginal father – Jeff believes in a strong digital culture for Canada’s First Peoples and has contributed to many community-building efforts. Jeff’s aboriginal heritage informs not only his creative work but his business philosophy as well. Most recently Jeff was selected as an Aboriginal Youth Role Model through the National Aboriginal Role Model Program.
